About Wicked Karma Live

Luc and Cali started out as beta testers in the game, The Sims Online (TSO), back in 2002. Interesting side enhancements to the game were fan sites, one aspect being internet radio stations.

We were not the first radio station to launch within the game, but were inspired by one of the first radio stations to start in game. Cali heard about this first radio station and got so excited over how much fun it was to hear real life songs and real people talking. She told Luc about how this station enhanced the game play. He got pretty excited about it, too. So excited in fact, that he started his own radio station!

As a result Liquid Buddha Live! was born.

Luc was the founder, general manager, webmaster and the first on air DJ. Other TSO players became DJ's and the little station started to grow. Then the in game radio station started to expand to outside the game with the addition of Jonathan. Jon has his own internet radio station. His experience in the field helped us to expand.
The infant station began to grow and evolve and word spread!

People wanted to Enlighten their Radios!

Then there was a wicked circumstance with our name Liquid Buddha. Luc was contacted by a guy (and his lawyer) who had gone and had the name trademarked for his art gallery studio, and who demanded that we give up our website domain name or he would take legal action. In order to avoid the wicked law, yet retain the essence of our former selves and not have to totally change our logo (ying yang buddha) or motto ("enlighten your radio") Wicked Karma Live! was born! WKSM = Wicked Karma (SM=Sims) Wicked is not always a bad thing! Our philosophy is to enjoy what you do and to have fun while you're doing it. All of our wonderful DJ's have added their personalities and variety to our Wicked Karma Family! We now have a veritable potpourri of genres and styles to suit all listeners! We are constantly evolving - working hard to bring you, the listener, all the freshest tunes and best radio experience out there!
